EFRAIM SHAMIR

Efraim Shamir was born in Russia and moved to Israel as a child. He joined the army in 1968 where he met met Alon Oleartchik, Gidi Gov, Danny Sanderson and Meir (Poogy) Fenigstein in the army band. He played with Kaveret from 1973-1976. In 1977 he released his first solo album, together with his wife Astar. In 1992 he released the album 'Sof Sof Geshem'.
